UK woman wins special permission to use embryos created abroad with anonymous donor sperm

Under a “highly exceptional set of circumstances”, the HFEA have allowed a UK woman to use embryos created abroad with anonymous donor sperm. According to the Mail, "the woman's right to have children was judged by the fertility regulator to outweigh a child's right to know their father".
