Scientists link menopausal hormone therapy to dementia risk

According to an observational study published in The BMJ, women aged 55 or younger undergoing estrogen-progestin HRT for menopause are 24% more at risk of developing all-cause dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. The researchers conclude that further studies are needed.
