Prenatal depression linked to risk of cardiovascular disease and stroke

According to a study published in the Journal of the American Heart Association, pregnant women with depression have increased chances of developing cardiovascular illness 2 years post-pregnancy. This includes 27% higher risk of stroke, with likelihood of heart disease and failure also increasing.
