Poor metabolic health in younger years linked to higher risk of Alzheimer’s disease

A greater risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease is associated with lower HDL cholesterol, higher triglyceride levels and higher blood glucose levels from around 35 years of age, according to a study published in Alzheimer’s and Dementia.
