Polycystic ovary syndrome linked to increased early risk of death

Research presented at ENDO 2023 has suggested that women with PCOS are almost 50% more at risk of death earlier than those without the endocrine condition. This is due to the link between PCOS and likelihood of developing diabetes, cardiovascular disease and bronchitis.
