People with obesity develop different circadian calorie-burning cycles

Research published in Obesity suggests that weight may dictate circadian calorie-burning cycles. The study found people with obesity burned fewer calories and had higher insulin during the day, whereas those with a healthy BMI burned fewer calories while asleep. Further research is needed to determine why.
