Researchers from Madrid have investigated whether Indian women’s ovaries aged earlier than those of Spanish women.
Exploring fertility preservation in children suffering from other disease (Alpha Galileo, 15 October 2013)
Researchers are evaluating a new technique which may induce sperm development in testicular cultures gathered from prepubescent boys prior to chemotherapy treatment. Another group is also investigating fertility preservation techniques for 13-15 year old girls suffering from Turner’s syndrome, leukaemia or tumours.
Exercise might boost men’s sperm counts, study finds (Medical Xpress, October 15, 2013)
A study investigated whether men who engaged in regular physical activity had higher levels of sperm concentration compared to men with a more sedentary lifestyle.
