Increased kisspeptin levels associated with polycystic ovarian syndrome

A study presented in Clinical Endocrinology has identified that kisspeptin may be a potential biomarker for the diagnosis of PCOS. The scientists found that levels of serum kisspeptin were higher in patients with PCOS compared to patients without, they concluded further research is needed.
