High-risk HPV infection increases cardiovascular related mortality

Korean researchers have identified a link between high-risk strains human papilloma virus infection and risk of death from cardiovascular disease. The study, published in the European Heart Journal, indicated that women who had HPV were more than four times likely to die from CVD complications. Further research is needed.
