Government response to consultation on fertility and human tissue regulators (Department of Health, 25 January 2013)

The Department of Health has today announced its response to the consultation on the future of the HFEA and HTA. The decision has been made to not pursue a transfer of functions at this time, but to immediately initiate an independent review of how both bodies carry out their functions.
