Extra sex chromosome more common in men

An estimated 1 in 500 men may be carrying an extra X or Y chromosome, according to research published in Genetics in Medicine. The large-scale UK study reports that most may be unaware that they’re carrying an extra chromosome and the increased health risk this can pose.
