Endocrine-disrupting chemicals may affect brain development in utero

According to a Swedish study, published in Science, exposure to a mix of endocrine-disrupting chemicals during pregnancy may affect children’s brain development and increased their risk of health issues in later life. The study links human epidemiological data with preclinical experimental evidence and suggests that further investigation and regulation is required.
