Delaying motherhood by freezing eggs could harm birth chances

A new study in JAMA suggests that the freezing or thawing process in cryopreservation may damage eggs and could reduce a women’s chance of becoming a mother. US researchers from the Centre for Human Reproduction in New York studied 93 per cent of all donor IVF cycles in the US in 2013 which included data from eight out of 10 fertility clinics.
