"David was a pioneer in our field and was most recently the President of the International Federation of Fertility Societies (IFFS) of which the BFS is a member society. He had spent a period of time working in the UK as Lecturer at the University of Edinburgh and was also a Fellow ad eundum of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.
"David’s legacy to our profession will be in part through a body of over 250 research papers, 78 book chapters and 8 edited books. However, there are many BFS members in the UK and around the world who owe David a debt of gratitude for his kindness, support and scholarly wisdom.
"The British Fertility Society would like to express its condolences to David's family, friends and colleagues around the world. He will be sorely missed."
Allan Pacey, Chairman, British Fertility Society.
