Children with older fathers and grandfathers 'live longer' (BBC News Online, 12 June 2012)

Scientists reporting in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences say offspring of older fathers live longer. They attribute this to telomeres of the father's sperm becoming longer with age resulting in an increased lifespan which is passed on to the next generation.
