Blood test may help identify hormone therapy resistant breast cancer strain

Research published in Cancer Discovery suggests that a new non-invasive blood test may help scientists identify advanced oestrogen receptor (ER) positive breast cancers which are immune to fulvestrant hormone therapy. This will help to identify patients with HRT resistant cancer, and match them to relevant alternative treatment.
