The winter edition of the Society’s quarterly magazine The Endocrinologist is now available to read online for free.
In this edition we look at how endocrinology is at the centre of everything, focusing on the importance of our discipline and how it intersects with others. We have something to suit all endocrine palates, with articles examining how endocrinology connects with everything from circadian rhythms, cancer biology to treatments to using mathematical approaches to understand hormone signalling and animal welfare. We also feature an interview with our new Society President, Graham Williams, on his life in endocrinology and what he hopes to achieve during his term of office.
Focusing on careers, we also take a look at the benefits of the Society’s new Themed Scientific Meeting Grant and how you can raise your profile and that of your publications through social networking. Additionally, we cover all the latest news from the Society, including an update from our Adrenal and Cardiovascular Endocrine Network and the important new Society Endocrine Emergency guidelines.
All this, plus the latest on the Society’s activities to benefit our members and endocrinology. You can browse this latest issue, and all previous issues, online for free at the website of The Endocrinologist.
