Welcoming Nurses to ECE 2016

The Nurse Programme at ECE continues to go from strength to strength with more nurses attending the Congress every year. A special rate of €150 is available for nurses attending the congress.

We are delighted to inform you about the Nurse programme for ECE 2016 and are looking forward to our collaboration with the German Endocrine Nurses' Group.

Nurses' Programme and Pre-Congress course

Highlights include:

• Clinical Symposium 1 – Meet the Nurse Expert
• Professional development session
• Nursing ePoster presentations
• MDT Clinical Symposium 2 - MDT management of adrenal insufficiency

This year's Pre-Congress course for nurses will be on 27 May 2016 at 12:00 - 17:05. Sessions will include:

• Diagnosing & treatment of pituitary secreting tumours
• The role of the endocrine nurse in the pre- and post-operative care of the patient undergoing pituitary surgery
• The nursing role in long-term follow up of a patient with Cushing’s
• The nursing role in long-term follow up of a patient with Acromegaly
• Nursing educational program
• Quality of life in patients with pituitary tumours
• Living with Cushing’s
