Welcome to the last day of ICE/ECE 2012

07 May 2012

Welcome to the fifth and final day of ICE/ECE 2012. We can hardly believe how quickly the time has past and how much we're managed to pack into the last five days. We hope you have enjoyed the Congress as much as we have and that it has provided you with a unique opportunity to hear about the latest developments in endocrinology from the foremost experts from around the world.

On our last day, we are honoured to be joined by our last two plenary speakers, Professor Michael Nauck and Professor Hitoshi Okamura. We also have a number of fascinating symposia for you, along with repeats of all the Meet the Expert sessions from yesterday, giving you another chance to gain vital insights into the treatment of various endocrine conditions. The Young Active Researchers also take to the stage in their own dedicated symposium and we have our final Congress debate entitled 'This house believes that we do more harm than good in the treamtne of thyroid low risk carcinoma'.

It's going to be a fascinating last day and end the Congress on a high. The programme for the last day at ICE/ECE 2012 can be viewed here. (Please note, Plenary 6 has been cancelled. See article below for more details.)
