07 May 2012
The morning is taken up with the second of our Oral Communication Sessions, with endocrinologists from around the world bringing you the latest in basic, translational and clinical research. This is followed by our daily Congress debate at 11:30, today entitled 'This house believes that PCOS needs a new name'. Concurrently, we also have all new Meet the Expert sessions, where another group of specialists from around the world take to the stage to discuss management of a range of conditions including pituitary incidentalomas, secondary osteoporosis in children and primary hyperparathyroidism. This afternoon we move into the next round of symposia with some fascinating sessions on topics such as 'Thyroid and pregnancy', 'Circadian regulation of metabolism' and Performance enhancing hormones in sport'.
The full programme for day 4 is available on the ICE/ECE 2012 website. You can read the abstracts from all presentations at the Congress on Endocrine Abstracts.
