Vacant position as a member of the ESPE Advanced Seminars in Developmental Endocrinology Steering Board

24 May 2012

We are seeking applications for a vacant position on the ESPE Advanced Seminars in Developmental Endocrinology Steering Board. The 4-year appointment will start in January 2013. The main task of the Steering Board is to organise the annual Advanced Seminars in Developmental Endocrinology focusing on changing topics of developmental endocrinology. The Seminar is aimed at both paediatric endocrinologists with good clinical experience (training about to be completed) and paediatric endocrinologists and scientists involved in basic and translational research. More information on the seminars can be found at the Advanced Seminar in Developmental Endocrinology page.

The workload of regular members is rather low, whereas the chairperson is in charge of the organisation of the annual seminars. The host city for the seminars should change every second year. Previous meetings took place in Paris (France), Stockholm (Sweden) and Bern (Switzerland).

The appointment will be made by the ESPE Council following recommendation by the Steering Board. If you are interested in applying for this important post, please send a brief email to the Steering Board Chair Primus E Mullis at: [email protected]. The closing date for applications is 30 October 2012.
