The ESPE Clinical Fellowship sponsors young paediatricians who wish to become paediatric endocrinologists but who lack specialised training opportunities at their home centres. It enables them to spend 3-12 months at a recognised European centre with established training opportunities for paediatric endocrinology and diabetology. We are seeking applications for a vacant position as a member of the ESPE Clinical Fellowship Committee (CFC). The three-year appointment will start in September 2014. The main task of the CFC is to evaluate fellowship applications and to help develop the programme.
The workload consists of one teleconference every six months, several emails and preparation work, evaluation of submitted applications and one face-to-face meeting every year (during the ESPE annual meeting). The appointment will be made by the ESPE Council following recommendation by the CFC.
If you are interested in applying for this post, please send a brief email to the ESPE team at: [email protected] or the CFC Chair Rasa Verkauskiene at: [email protected] outlining your suitability for consideration. The deadline for applications is 31 July 2014.
