Vacancies on the Clinical Practice Committee - deadline 30 November 2012

09 Oct 2012

The Clinical Practice Committee (CPC) is seeking help from ESPE members in its new expanded roles. There is a vacancy for a full member of the CPC. The remit includes overseeing aspects of clinical governance, guideline development and standards of endocrine care. Commitment includes one annual meeting, teleconferences 2-3 times yearly and work/email communication in between.

There are also opportunities for ESPE members to apply for two positions on each of the new subcommittees. These are less onerous roles and are also open to those in training and nurses. The first position is 'Liaison with Working Groups and Programme Organising Committee'. This particular remit is to assist with planning topics for the Meet the Expert sessions at the annual meeting and in producing clinical practice guidelines for Hormone Research in Paediatrics. Interest from Working Group members would be very welcome. The second position is on the 'Website and patient/professional information sub-committee'. The remit (available on the ESPE website) is to ensure up-to-date information for fellow professionals and patients/parents about endocrine conditions.

Further information about these vacancies can be obtained from Professor Gary Butler at: [email protected]. Applications should be submitted to the ESPE secretariat by 30 November 2012.
