Update on revalidation from RCP

Revalidation is the process whereby, from 2012, all licensed doctors will have to demonstrate to the General Medical Council (GMC) that they are up to date and fit to practice. The Royal College of Physicians (RCP) believes that revalidation should support professional development and result in higher standards of care for patients and the public.
