The Society has organising a range of exciting meeting and training opportunities for the latter half of 2010. Whatever your interest within the specialty or your career path, there is an event to suit you. To register your interest in any of the events, email [email protected].

Obesity Management Symposium 2010 8-10 September 2010, Cambridge. Based around small, practical workshops, this interactive training course is aimed at specialty registrars and consultants with an interest in the practicalities of obesity management. The course is limited to 40 delegates so register your interest as soon as possible!

Endocrine Nurse Update, September 2010. This exciting new event for our nurse members will provide essential training on all topics of endocrinology and diabetes. Further details will be available soon on the SfE website.

Autumn Endocrine Retreat 2010 15-18 October 2010, Oxfordshire. Aimed at our trainees members, the Autumn Endocrine Retreat provides a forum to foster scientific interactions, to hear from established endocrine researchers on topical subjects particularly related to career development and to provide an informal setting to present data and discuss research approaches. Registration is free to SfE members and is open between 1-20 June 2010 only. The course is limited to 20 delegates.

Clinical Update 2010 8-10 November 2010, Bristol. Our ever popular Clinical Update training series provides essential training for all trainees and new consultants in endocrinology and diabetes. This highly successful training event covers the PMETB national curriculum in endocrinology and diabetes over a three-year period with 2010 seeing the start of a new cycle.
