Cancer: the price of survival - 20.30 Wednesday 4 June 2014

UK cancer survival rates are now higher than ever, but current treatments produce long-lasting side effects that come with their own challenges. Macmillan’s Chief Medical Officer Jane Maher, NHS endocrinologist Robert Murray and NHS consultant nurse Diana Greenfield look at the problems to be tackled by the medical profession and the issues facing survivors.

Trust, lust and love - 18.00 Thursday 5 June 2014

All animals need to reproduce, but what drives this urge? How do we pick a mate? Join psychologist Viren Shwami and endocrinologists Gareth Lengh and Helen Simpson to discuss how the rise and fall of hormones exerts a powerful effect on mating behaviour.
