University of Manchester Doctoral Training Partnership Studentships

01 Nov 2011

The BBSRC is in the process of establishing 10-15 Doctoral Training Partnerships (DTPs) across the UK to provide PhD training in areas of strategic relevance to the BBSRC. The University of Manchester has submitted a bid for DTP status and, if successful, anticipates appointing around 25-40 PhD students to start in September 2012. The DTP scheme will provide students with excellent cross-disciplinary research training in line with the current BBSRC strategy for research support and training.

Online applications are now being accepted for the 2012 studentships. These fully-funded studentships are available in a range of academic disciplines, commencing in September 2012. The studentships provide funding for fees and stipend at the Research Council UK rate. For further details, including eligibility criteria and details of how to apply, click on the link below. The closing date for applications is Friday 25 November 2011. Any queries should be directed to the DTP recruitment officer, Mrs Jessica Bowler, at [email protected] or telephone: +44(0)161 275 5537.
