Via www.jobs.ac.uk. The department of Chemical and Biological Sciences, School of Applied Sciences, University of Huddersfield is seeking an enthusiastic individual to play a major role in the teaching and research in Biological Sciences (Lecturer: £29,410-£33,101/Senior Lecturer: £34,094-£43,190).
Candidates should have a first degree and a PhD (or equivalent) in a relevant science and ideally should have relevant post-doctoral or industrial experience with a good record of publications and the ability to attract research funding.
Applications are particularly welcomed from individuals with research expertise in molecular and cellular physiology and/or toxicology utilising cell culture systems and molecular biological techniques. Teaching experience in human cardiovascular, endocrine, muscle, respiratory systems and neurophysiology would be advantageous. The ability to teach toxicology would be beneficial.
