UNESCO-L'Oreal Suisse 'For Women in Science' programme

Since 1998 L'Oreal and UNESCO have provided funding to women working in science as part of the 'For Women in Science' programme.

L'Oreal Suisse, UNESCO and the Swiss Academies of Sciences have opened applications to a grants programme that provides financial support to women to conduct research within an institution in Switzerland. Up to four successful post-doctoral students will receive funding of up to Fr. 160,000 over a period of up to 24 months.

The grants are specifically designed to cover the continuation or completion of a post-doctorate, or the interim period in between completing a post-doctorate and being awarded a lectureship or professorship.
