UNESCO First Session of Conference of Parties to be held 5-7 February 2007

UNESCO is organizing the first session of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention against Doping in Sport, to be held at its headquarters in Paris from 5-7 February 2007. At the first session the Bureau (the Chairperson, four Vice Chairs and a Rapporteur) will be established and the Rules of Procedure adopted. Other key items for discussion include administration of the Fund for the Elimination of Doping in Sport and consideration of a monitoring framework in support of the Convention.
