A recent audit of patients taking cabergoline in NHS Highland revealed variable adherence to echocardiogram screening. A literature review also conducted highlighted the paucity of data for screening in patients receiving low dose cabergoline [publication under peer review].
This short survey is designed to examine clinical practice across the UK, and aims to identify:
- Adherence to current best evidence for echocardiogram surveillance in endocrinologists
- Anticipated acceptance if national guidelines for echocardiogram surveillance were introduced
