Type 2 diabetes risk increased by red meat consumption

A study published in The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition suggests that eating just two servings of red meat per week can increase the chance of developing type 2 diabetes, substituting red meat for nuts and legumes lowers the risk by 30%. The researchers recommend public health guidelines on limiting the consumption of red meat
