Two PhD Fellowships: Alterations of GPCR Signaling Pathways in Endocrine Tumors - Würzburg, Germany

Two PhD fellowships (each for three years) are available starting 1 July 2014 at the Bio-Imaging Center/Rudolf Virchow Center of the University of Würzburg and the Endocrine Unit (Dept. of Internal Medicine I) of the University Hospital of Würzburg to join collaborative projects focusing on genetic alteration of G-protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) signaling pathways in endocrine tumors. Funding is provided by the European ERA-Net “E-Rare” and an intramural grant of the University of Würzburg.

Applicants should preferably have a background in biochemistry/cell biology, endocrinology or pharmacology. Applications are invited from all nationalities, with a Master's degree (or Diploma) in a relevant area.
