Tutors for Africa

26 Mar 2014

Members of ESPE are encouraged to consider working in Africa for two weeks as Visiting Tutors for the Paediatric Endocrine Training Centre in Africa (PETCA) programme. The two centres are in Nairobi and in Lagos (PETCWA, Paediatric Training Centre in West Africa). The experience is most rewarding. The students are motivated and a delight to teach. As a tutor, you also will learn a huge amount. The local organiser and local tutors are on hand to make your stay as enjoyable and fulfilling as possible. ESPE works closely with ISPAD who also arrange tutors to visit on an alternate basis. So why not consider this experience?

Expressions of interest should be forwarded to Ieuan Hughes ([email protected]) together with a copy of your CV and details of any previous experience of working in a developing country.
