Today at ECE 2015 (2)

Day two of ECE 2015 kicked off at 08.20 this morning with our third plenary lecture of the programme; Guillaume Assie will give a talk on The Genomics of adrenocortical tumours.

The highlights in today’s scientific programme include:

  • Hot Topics sessions on X-linked acrogigantism and combination therapeutics for obesity and type-2 diabetes presented by Gaimpolo Trivellin and Matthias Tschoep respectively.
  • International Endocrine Scholars Programme (IESP) symposia in which this year’s winners will present their award winning projects
  • Endocrine Nurse Session Meet the Nurse Expert where a panel of nurses will share their expertise in clinical guidelines and discuss their potential implications for nursing practise.

The day will be rounded off with our fourth plenary lecture, this time from Richard Auchus who will discuss Congenital adrenal hyperplasia (CAH): mechanisms and management across the life span.
