Welcome to Wrocław, and welcome to the ECE 2014 daily news alert bringing you all the news from the Congress.

Registration for the Congress is open. As a pre-registered delegate you should head to the registration area on arrival at the congress centre. If you've brought your e-badge you can use one of the self-service desks.

The opening ceremony begins at 17:30, beginning with a welcome message from ESE followed by two Prize lectures. Later on at 19:30 you are invited to the ECE 2014 Welcome Reception spectacular!
