Thrasher Research Fund Early Career Grants

13 Feb 2013

The Thrasher Research Fund recognizes that young investigators may find it difficult to remain in paediatric research because of a lack of funding. Therefore, the purpose of this program is to encourage the development of medical research in child health by awarding small grants to new researchers, helping them gain a foothold in this important area.

The Fund is open to a variety of research topics important to children’s health, and is open to applications from institutions based anywhere in the world. Both incidence and severity are considered when determining the significance of a problem being studied. The grant amount is based on the actual budgetary needs of the project, with a maximum of $25,000 in direct costs for the entire grant.

The deadline or submission of an initial concept paper to the second cycle of funding in 2013 is 7 June 2013 (a third cycle will close in October 2013). For more information please follow the link below.
