The SfE public website - a great opportunity for budding science writers

You and Your Hormones is an exciting new development by SfE designed to give the public online-access to information on glands, hormones and endocrine conditions, written and reviewed by you, the scientific and medical community.

In February we started asking people to try out their skills at science writing by volunteering to be a contributor to the You and Your Hormones website, www.yourhormones.info. We got a great response, and a large number of articles are already being written. A big thank you goes to all of you who have volunteered your time and energy to writing for the project.

Endocrinology is a large and diverse field, and there is still lots of opportunity for those who want to try their hand at science writing to become contributors to the website. We'd be particularly keen to hear from people working in reproductive endocrinology or the thyroid.
