Applications are welcomed for the 2019 ESPE Summer School being held in Austria in September.
The aims of the ESPE Summer School are to provide up to date teaching in some selected areas of paediatric endocrinology, to promote discussions and interactions between younger and senior paediatric endocrinologists and to prepare the next leaders in paediatric endocrinology.
The course extends over 3 days and is composed of lectures, discussions and interactive case presentations. In 2019, it will be held at Burg Feistritz am Wechsel, a medieval secluded castle 1 hour south from Vienna, immediately before the 58th Annual Meeting of the European Society for Paediatric Endocrinology in Vienna.
The Summer School fellows usually consist of physicians still in academic training in paediatric endocrinology, who are selected by the Summer School Steering Committee.
The deadline is February 8, 2019 and applicants will be notified by the middle of April 2019.
There is no registration fee for the Summer School and travel between Vienna and the Summer School and accommodation on the nights of the 15th, 16th and 17th September and associated meals shall also be provided.
