Study suggests effectiveness of apple cider vinegar (ACV) in reducing obesity risk

In a randomised clinical study, published in BMJ Nutrition, Prevention & Health, ACV was found to improve BMI and reduce weight at 12 weeks, with the placebo making no difference. The findings suggest that the acetic acid found in ACV may improve metabolism, and could be useful as a dietary intervention for obesity.
