STFC-POST postgraduate placement scheme 2012

The Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC) are inviting applications for their 2012 postgraduate placement scheme. The scheme provides an opportunity for a postgraduate to be seconded to the Parliamentary Office of Science and Technology (POST) to assist in providing objective briefing material for MPs and Peers for a three month period.

STFC funded PhD students who have completed their first year and will be studying in March 2012 are eligible to apply. The exact timing of the secondment is open to negotiation, but is likely to take place in April–July or August–December 2012. Details of how to apply can be found at the link below.
