ST3+ Speciality registrar LAS - diabetes and endocrinology, Romford, Essex

Via www.healthjobsuk.com. Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust have a vacancy for a doctor to join the Department of Endocrinology and Diabetes in Queen’s Hospital. The successful candidate will be provided with training in fields of diabetes, endocrinology and general medicine.

The Department of Endocrinology in Queen’s Hospital runs speciality endocrine clinics such as endocrinology of pregnancy, neuroendocrinology, diabetes, general endocrinology and provides an in-patient service for patients with pituitary disease, diabetic patients, general endocrine patients, and provides peri-operative assessment and support for patients undergoing thyroid surgery and parathyroidectomy.

The successful candidate is expected to have MRCP or equivalent. There will be general medical commitments in the post and Queen’s Hospital offers excellent exposure to general medicine. The closing date for applications is 24 January 2012 - click on the link below for further details.
