Doncaster & Bassetlaw Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has worked with local commissioners and GP colleagues to implement a new model delivering early senior medical input to acute medical patients, with rapid access to diagnostics and treatment. With an enhanced team of acute medicine consultants they now need an extended middle grade tier. The Deanery provides Specialty Registrars but there is a need for Specialty Doctors. This post is 1 of 4 posts available covering in the following four specialties: Acute medicine, Respiratory medicine, Gastroenterology and, diabetes and Endocrine medicine.

You will be part of a team of 8 Middle Grade Doctors providing a comprehensive service with responsibility for the acute medical on-call, along with other General and Acute Physicians, at Bassetlaw District general Hospital, Doncaster Royal Infirmary and Montagu Hospital. The successful candidates may rotate with the Doncaster Royal Infirmary site to provide cover and increase training opportunities.
