Society partner Pfizer introduces 2017 ASPIRE Young Investigator Research Awards in Endocrinology

The mission of the 2017 Global ASPIRE Young Investigator Research Awards in Endocrinology is to advance the medical knowledge of the fundamental mechanisms of disease, mechanisms of action of current and potential future treatments, and to improve the care of patients with endocrine disorders.

Pfizer invites junior investigators to apply for the 2017 Global ASPIRE Young Investigator Research Awards in Endocrinology from 6 March 2017

Funding will be provided to research proposals that seek to explore translational or clinical research in the area of endocrine disease in children and young adults to address:

  1. Morbidity and mortality in Adult Growth Hormone Deficiency or Acromegaly
  2. Impact and/or needs of the patient with Growth Disorders during the pediatric and transitional years/young adult life
  3. Novel strategies including Quality of Life and Patient Reported Outcomes to evaluate and treat acromegaly or Adult Growth Hormone Deficiency.
  4. Early diagnosis and treatment of Adult Growth Hormone Deficiency or Acromegaly
