Society launches new programme to nurture endocrine talent (1)

Introducing the Society Leadership and Development Awards Programme, which is designed to recognise and nurture emerging talent in endocrinology.

This Awards Programme was devised as part of the Society’s strategy to advance and support endocrinology. It will provide opportunities and support for early career endocrinologists to enable them to develop naturally into future leaders of our discipline.

Graham Williams, President of the Society said, "I am thrilled to see the launch of the Society Leadership and Development Awards Programme. This ambitious initiative was devised to recognise and nurture emerging talent in endocrinology, as part of the Society’s goals to advance and support our discipline. The Awards Programme will identify our outstanding early career talent and provide them with a wide range of opportunities that will prepare them to be our leaders of tomorrow. I am proud to be involved in developing this inspiring Programme, which I hope will not only contribute to the future of our Society but also to continued successes in the field of endocrinology far into the future."

We are now recruiting Society members to the Selection Panel that will identify the Awardees for 2019.
