Society Grants (1) (1)

12 Oct 2007

The Society offers a wide variety of grants to its members. The sponsored seminars grant has been established to support institutions wishing to host endocrine seminars, with the intention of raising awareness of endocrinology as a discipline and to attract scientists, clinicians and nurses into the specialty. The sponsered poster session grants are intended to support institutions wishing to host local poster sessions aimed specifically at supporting young researchers, clinical trainees and/or nurses. The next application deadline for both the sponsered poster sessions and sponsered seminars is 27 October 2007.

We also provide grants with continuous application throughout the year such as the lab visit and clinical department visit grants. The lab visit grant for young endocrinologists has been established to assist scientists in training to visit labs to learn a technique or to carry out experiments essential to their projects. Applications for funds of up to £2000 are welcome. We also provide clinical department visit grants (up to £2000) to assist students members to visit clinical departments other than those within their rotation, in order to see endocrinology practised in a different setting. Details of all Society grants can be found at the link below.
