Society for Endocrinology BES 2009 - a huge success!

The Society is pleased to report the SfE BES 2009 meeting was a great success. The meeting took place in Harrogate from 16-19 March and saw 988 attendees gather to discuss the latest research and clinical practice in endocrinology. As well as a packed scientific programme, delegates were treated to a Young Endocrinologist quiz night, welcome reception to celebrate the 70th anniversary of JOE and an evening of Irish dancing at the conference dinner. Initial feedback from delegates has been extremely positive and the Society would like to thank all those involved in putting together the scientific programme and in ensuring the conference ran smoothly. Details of all prize winners will be on the web shortly.

Finally, a date for your diaries - SfE BES 2010 meeting will be held in Manchester, 15-18 March 2010. We hope to see you all there!
