The Society for Endocrinology is inviting you to share your experiences of outreach for young people aged 5-18. We are aiming to create a repository of member outreach projects that will eventually be made publically accessible as a resource for all those wishing to engage young audiences with endocrinology.
If you have planned or participated in an educational public engagement project for schoolchildren aged 5-18, share your experience with the wider community! Whether it’s a classroom lecture, a debate at a festival or an open day activity at university, we want to know what you did and how you did it. We envisage building a resource bank that can be used by school teachers, science communicators and outreach officers who need ideas on how to deliver endocrine-related activities for school children.
This is your chance to help children better understand hormones and potentially inspire a new generation of future endocrinologists. It is also an opportunity to increase the reach and longevity of the hard work you and your institution do to engage young people with endocrinology.
To take part in this initiative, please follow the instructions in the questionnaire below. For any questions, please email [email protected] .
The deadline to return the questionnaire is 5:00 PM on Friday 14 February 2014.
If you submit the questionnaire you will be contacted for further details. None of the information you submit at this stage will be made publically available.
