SfE produces standards for the teaching of endocrinology and diabetes in UK medical schools (1)

The Society convened an Undergraduate Medical School Curriculum Task Force with the aim of developing a strategy to promote and enhance undergraduate teaching of endocrinology and diabetes. Based on survey responses from educational leads across the UK, the Task Force developed a proposed set of standards that meet the requirements of the GMC. A summary and full document have been prepared by the Society in partnership with Diabetes UK and the Association of British Clinical Diabetologists; they can be downloaded via the Society's Clinical Portal at the link below.
