SfE Grants, Prizes & Awards

The Society for Endocrinology offers a number of grants, prizes and awards which members can apply for throughout the year. Grants include: public engagement grants, practical skills grants, clinical department visit grants, sponsored seminars and conference travel grants.

Prizes are offered at the SfE BES, Clinical Update and Clinical Cases meetings for oral and/or poster presentations, to trainee researchers who have made a significant contribution to research in basic endocrinology (the JOE/JME prize), and students can submit essays for the Undergraduate Essay Prize. Our newest initiative is the Society’s annual Journal Awards.  The inaugural awards will be made at the SfE BES meeting in 2014 and will be given to the authors of the best papers published in Journal of Endocrinology, Journal of Molecular Endocrinology, Endocrine-Related Cancer and Clinical Endocrinology.
